Walk with Jesus. Pray for the nation. Follow the journey.
In honor of America's 250th year, the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will carry the theme One Nation Under God. One Nation Under God is not a slogan it is an invitation to realign our lives, communities, and country under the sovereignty of Christ. It is a call to build unity through prayer, and to let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, renew and heal the heart of our country, one soul at a time. As pilgrims on this route, we walk with Christ so that his love might draw our nation back to him. You are invited to join us, in person or in spirit, and offer prayers and sacrifices for the renewal of America.
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is an opportunity to bring the joy and hope of Jesus directly into our communities through Eucharistic processions and adoration, Mass, community service projects, and more. We will be united as we go out on mission, encounter one another, and accompany each other in our renewal of faith.
How Did We Get Here?
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage began with the launch of the National Eucharistic Revival, a three-year initiative launched by the Catholic bishops of the United States in 2022 to renew faith and devotion to Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
A major milestone of the revival was the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July 2024, the first such gathering in the United States in 83 years. More than 60,000 Catholics attended the five-day event, joining in worship, Eucharistic adoration, and public processions. Leading up to that Congress, four Eucharistic pilgrimages crossed the country, covering more than 6,500 miles and drawing over 250,000 participants who encountered the Blessed Sacrament in towns and cities across America.
The following year, the second National Eucharistic Pilgrimage under the patronage of St. Katharine Drexel traveled from Indianapolis to Los Angeles.
