Appreciation Breakfast

The Haiti Ministry recently hosted a free Appreciation Breakfast in the Parish Hall to thank the community for the ongoing support of their mission in Dos Palais. It was a joy for the ministry team to cook and serve a delicious breakfast as a small token of gratitude.

September 5 and 6
The Haiti Rummage Sale, held Friday and Saturday, September 5-6, was a tremendous success. A big thank you to the generosity and support of our community. The event raised $ 31,500 from sales alone, with additional contributions from our generous sponsors.
All proceeds go directly to support our brothers and sisters in Dos Palais. The ministry extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, volunteered, shopped, and helped make this event such a meaningful success!The St. Marc Jar
Commons
St. Marc, located in the remote Village of Cannot, is a sister parish of St. Jean Baptiste. The community lies about five miles from Dos Palais, accessible only by a road that becomes impassable during the rainy season. The parish school building also serves as the gathering place for Mass whenever Father Nova is able to visit.
July 5 - August 3
Approximately 100 children attend St. Marc, from Preschool through Grade 6, and each student receives a hot meal every day. This summer, Saint Michael’s helped support the dedicated staff of St. Marc through our “St. Marc Jar” campaign, held from July 5 to August 3. Your generosity directly contributed to the teachers’ salaries and the continued success of the school.
Saint Jean the Baptiste Novena Prayer
June 15-23
The people of St. Michael Parish prayed the Daily Novena in solidarity with St. Jean the Baptiste, our twin parish in Dos Palais, on June 15th-23rd. The Feast Day of St. Jean the Baptiste was celebrated at Daily Mass on June 24th.Food Drive
